As the Senior Vice President, Total Rewards you will report to the Chief Human Resources Office and work closely with GXO's senior leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing, innovating, and proactively infusing practices that drive business impact through Compensation and Benefits programs and initiatives. You will serve as a senior strategic leader in the broader company, helping to align Compensation and Benefits strategies to drive business results. GXO's success will be directly correlated to the culture and people brought in both internally and externally.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Effectively partners with HR Business Partners to drive and deploy global processes, systems, tools, and consistent ways of working across the enterprise, considering regional and local needs.
- Serves as an ambassador of the evolving HR operating model.
- Serve as a key member of the HR Executive Leadership Team as a trusted advisor in driving the Compensation and Benefits agenda, providing critical insight, and helping to shape strategy for the business.
- Supports CEO in Board assignments and requirements, as well as inform the Remuneration committee on Executive Pay.
- Champion strategic workforce planning activities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives
- Leads the group compensation and benefits structure, changes, and amendments
- Leads the design, implementation, and management of the compensation programs
- Oversees market research and analysis to ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive and cost-effective.
- Communicating with strategic third-party services to negotiate benefits plans and resolve benefit-related issues
- Create a nourishing, healthy atmosphere that embodies our company values.
- Lead the annual compensation cycle across the enterprise Enter primary duty
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 15+ years of progressive human resources & compensation and benefits experience in leadership roles
- Experience in an industrial, field - based organization with a predominantly hourly workforce
- Advance level of compensation tools, including Excel and other systems
- Seasoned in management of executive compensation globally and in the United States
- Enter years/industry experience
- Enter required experience/skills
- Master's degree
