Location: Beaverton, OR
Schedule: 40 Hours, 4 days onsite and 1 day at home (if onsite)
Duration: ~ 4 Months
Pay: Up to $60/hour DOE
 
Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Virtual Merchant with a strong digital background to join our well known retail brand on a 4 month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will follow a hybrid work schedule, being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day in Beaverton, OR.

For this role, the Senior Virtual Merchant will be helping to sell 3D versions of digital products within video games so an understanding of gaming and how digital purchases are made is required!
 
Senior Virtual Merchant Responsibilities:

• Utilize PLM, Product Creation, and Virtual Merchandising to help select what products are made for purchase in the digital environments.
• Work cross-functionally with merchandising, brand marketing, design, and product to help translate the physical products into the virtual assortments.
• Understand virtual consumer behavior and how that translates into the marketplace experience.
• Coordinate between multiple consumer groups (gender) and the varying product types.
• Update partners on where projects are, relay new information, and submit requests for approvals.
• Build out presentations and plans in Keynote and Excel.
• Upload and scan dimensional products and transfer into the correct file types.

Senior Visual Merchant Qualifications:

• 4+ years' of relevant merchant experience.
• Can travel up to 20% as needed.
• Exposure and experience with digital purchasing through outside applications.
• Must have experience with Keynote, Excel, and Outlook suite.
• Gaming and technical knowledge of digital purchasing and virtual consumer behavior.
• merchandising and marketplace experience in virtual space.
