Senior Wafer Cleaning Technician - Halo Industries, Inc.

As a senior process engineering technician, you will have the following responsibilities

Serve as the primary operator for SiC wafer cleaning equipment to fill customer orders and support engineering experiments
Conduct hands-on experiments to optimize performance, cost, and throughput of wet bench and brush-based cleaning processes
Document standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance procedures
Work with the engineering team to determine process recipes and tool operating conditions in order to fulfill customer orders
Respond to customer feedback and identify opportunities for quality improvement
Develop a thorough understanding of a SiC wafer cleaning technology in order to effectively troubleshoot issues that come up
Ensure a safe work environment by maintaining tool health and actively identifying any chemical safety hazards
Work creatively and cross-functionally with other teams at Halo make process improvements
Analyze metrology data from defect and particle measurement tools in order ensure process is running properly
Collect, summarize and present results to other team members

Requirements

Preferred Education & Experience

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience running wafer cleaning equipment, ideally wet benches. Candidates with higher levels of experience are also welcome to apply as well.

Experience operating technically complicated production or laboratory equipment

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive “can do” attitude
