Overview
We are looking for a Senior Web Analyst who will lead the charge for defining the customer analytics strategy and execution across customer facing channels, both online and offline amid a broad digital transformation. Successful candidates will ensure that web and customer data is being captured accurately, governed to preserve integrity, and then reported with actionable insights. This role involves collaborating cross functionally through business unit, sales, digital marketing, digital analytics, digital design, IT, and CRM professionals. that will grow consumer direct / omnichannel capabilities. This is a hybrid position. All qualified candidates MUST reside in the Denver, CO area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship or C2C.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize customer analytics needs across different data sources (web, point of sale, 3rd party data etc)
- If the data is available and accurate, deliver insightful, compelling, and actionable reports, dashboard to address these needs with a high sense of urgency
- If the data is not available (or not accurate), work with the IT team and create a roadmap and implementation plan to collect this data in a scalable manner
- Move the larger organization to a data driven decision making leveraging the deep customer insights from the data
- Identify growth opportunities by analyzing user behavior, navigation patterns, page performance and conversion funnels
- Establish dashboard and reporting standards for entire Advanced Energy team focused on KPIs (sales, traffic, conversion, etc.)
- Manage strategic direction of all site tagging
- Partner with Development and QA teams to ensure accuracy and quality
- Provide data-driven insights to increase overall site conversion, improve performance and customer experience
- Educate teams in web analytics and create a self-service analytics reporting culture
- Play a pivotal role in the site A/B testing strategy and subsequent analysis
- Communicate to both peers and executive leadership opportunities for site improvements and customer insights
- Collaboratively guide external vendors in regards to tracking, implementation, and reporting of analytics
- Stay abreast of new developments/strategies in analytics and competitor and industry trends
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of relevant web and customer analytics experience
- Knowledge of GA 4 (Google analytics 4) tagging and implementation is required. Experience with Google Analytics Tag manager (GTM) is preferred
- Strong Power BI skills
- Experience with B2B (preferred) or B2C customer analytics with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences including those who do not have a technical/Digital/eCommerce background
- Problem solving mindset with experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving data quality issues
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and data interpretation skills, ability to transform data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of digital marketing initiatives is preferred (Paid Search, SEO, Affiliates, Display) and a strong understanding of marketing channels.
- Proficient in Excel. SQL and Business Intelligence tools knowledge a plus.
- Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS and Javascript are a plus
- Self-motivated individual with ability to handle multiple high priority demands
- Adept at working within a heavily matrixed environment. Ability to guide, influence and navigate effectively with different constituencies in achieving goals
- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be influential, but able to work effectively in a matrixed project team which include a large 3rd party presence
- Smart and sound judgement to lead through changing and ambiguous environments
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a contract engagement with an annual salary of $120k-$135k. This position has the potential to be converted to a permanent role within the company after a 6-month contract. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
