The Bio-Rad Senior Website Strategy Manager is a critical leadership position within the Digital Experience team, responsible for growing Bio-Rad’s online presence in the life science research and clinical diagnostics market. In this role, you will drive our overall online business strategy by managing the website roadmap, measuring and tracking to KPIs, continually enhancing the customer journey, collaborating with stakeholders on feature development priorities, and driving online revenue growth.
This role is highly visible across the organization and you will work across a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure that the website aligns with business objectives and brand guidelines and supports ongoing marketing initiatives.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Strategy
- Lead the overall online strategy, planning, and feature development for Bio-Rad’s global website, Bio-Rad.com
- Set the vision, goals, guiding principles, and governance for the website
- Collaborate with and influence stakeholders in business unit marketing, the global commercial organization, demand generation, customer care, global IT, human resources, creative services, and corporate communications to enhance the customer experience and financial success of the website
- Actively seek new ways to improve the user experience by evaluating customer feedback and satisfaction scores, conducting A/B testing, and analyzing relevant website engagement metrics
- Work in partnership with analytics team to track KPIs for revenue and engagement, and share data, insights, and recommendations with business unit stakeholders and executives on a regular basis
Technical
- Oversee the user experience of the web site, including site navigation, page templates, search, customer journey, and translation implementation
- Write business requirements and manage UAT (user acceptance testing) for new website features
- Serve as Business Owner of the website infrastructure and partner with Global IT on technical roadmaps
- Incorporate best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies into the website.
Team Leadership
- Manage a team of four direct reports (total team size of twelve, with growth potential) specializing in web design, SEO, website architecture, and front-end development who provide daily operational support to globally dispersed content developers and marketing teams.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, Online Marketing, or Business Systems. MBA or higher level degree preferred
- Work Experience: 10-15 years of leadership experience building and managing an enterprise global eCommerce website, preferably with managing a geographically distributed team
- Extensive experience in global eCommerce business operations and systems and proven expertise in incorporating web and SEO best practices
- Demonstrated experience with largescale website consolidation and optimization projects
- Strong advocate for end user and customers needs
- Experience writing website business requirements, working with IT to determine solutions, and managing UAT (user acceptance testing) for new functionality across large group of people in diverse regions
- Experience implementing change management fundamentals within your team and when communicating change across teams
- Exceptionally strong business judgment and decision making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate the highest impact initiatives
- Strong presentation and collaboration skills
- Experience working with senior members of the organization, as well as partnering with business and IT leads
- Significant emphasis and experience in cross-collaboration and partnership
- Familiarity with Drupal, BigCommerce, Marketo, SEMRush, and other MarTech tools
Location: This position is ideally located in Northern California, but open for the option to work remotely. This position will work primarily in Pacific Timezone hours, but will need to attend meetings in other timezones on a regular basis to meet with stakeholders in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $169,800 to $233,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
