We are looking to hire System Administration professionals to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal. AvMC is the Army's focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the weapons systems life cycle. AvMC's mission is to "deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions" to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.
 
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to more junior teammates
- Provide systems administration and technical support on virtual and physical unclassified and classified computer systems and applications for AvMC
- Provide Enterprise Active Directory operations support functions
- Manage Group Policy objects for a complex enterprise environment
- Implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations within an enterprise environment
- Provide hardware/software support for application servers, network infrastructure, web servers, print servers, virtual file servers, virtual machines, and reporting tools
- Follow and maintain DISA STIGs for the hardware/software support for application servers, network infrastructure, web servers, print servers, virtual file servers, virtual machines, and reporting tools
- Perform Windows Server OS upgrades while minimizing service downtime
- Maintain a centralized and secure print solution in an enterprise environment; manage STIG compliance for enterprise printers
- Management of users, user attributes and permissions, group and local policies, printer management, share management, and user authentication
- Provide technical support for hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, system backups, system updates and helpdesk support for AvMC's information systems users
- Responsible for Hardware/Software maintenance including patch management, vulnerability remediation/mitigation, configuration management, firmware obsolescence adjudication, capability enhancements, and updates
- Develop Windows domain PowerShell scripts to aid and enhance the administration of the AvMC unclassified network.
- Perform system scans and analyses using Government provided tools and have a thorough technical understanding of network, server, and workstation security
- Coordinate changes with other support teams and leverage existing change management processes
- Provide Subject Matter expertise to IPTA proposal efforts
Requirements:
- BS/BA in related field
- 10 years of related work experience
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and scripting
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification
- DoD Secret clearance
