What You'll Do
Elevate your career with Dermalogica as a Sephora Account Retail Ambassador. In this full-time role, you'll be at the forefront of promoting Dermalogica's premium products within high-volume Sephora locations. Your mission? Drive sales, deliver outstanding education, and become a trusted partner for Sephora's beauty advisors while embodying the Dermalogica spirit of excellence.
The territory will encompass New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the Expert: Share your in-depth knowledge of Dermalogica products, including the latest launches and promotions, to inspire confidence in every customer.
- Boost Sales: Strive to achieve sales goals, especially in new and high-priority Sephora locations, through engaging product demonstrations and compelling recommendations.
- Build Relationships: Establish strong partnerships with Sephora store leadership and beauty advisors, fostering support and excitement for the Dermalogica brand.
- Host Events: Lead impactful events to drive awareness and sales, with a strong focus on FSC (Field Support Center) events in high-visibility markets, that make Dermalogica stand out.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Maintain regular contact with Sephora Account Managers and your Regional Manager, sharing insights on successes, opportunities, and market trends.
Education
- Execute best-in-class Sales and Education visits, high-touch store and cast training, district-level cluster trainings, morning touch bases to increase Sephora cast love and selling skills.
- Host education programs designed to enhance sell-through and growth of the retail business.
- Fully understand the retailer and Dermalogica launch and activation calendar to efficiently drive business, e.g. store events, Sephora Animations, seminars, trainings.
- Become a Dermalogica brand expert staying on top of product knowledge and brand activities, delivering this expertise to all cast members and clients.
What You'll Bring
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Esthetician license preferred, but not required
- Strong background in retail sales and promotional event planning within the skincare industry required - preferably with direct experience working with Sephora
- Multi-location responsibility experience required
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to drive extensively within the territory required
- Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora concept
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ADP

- Must adhere to Sephora’s guidelines for in-store presentation, parameters for store visits, and other needs as outlined in Sephora-provided handbooks

Availability:
- Shifts are scheduled during peak retail time periods (generally 11:00AM to 5:00PM or 12:00PM to 6:00PM) to include every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and most Sundays - may include an occasional Wednesday.
- Expect a consistent 40-hour work week.

The expected base hourly rate for this position is $30-$32 hourly. The exact base hourly rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
