Server - Border Café/Jose Tejas

Jose Tejas in Fairfield, New Jersey is looking for friendly servers to be a part of our high energy and fast paced tex-mex family!

Your role as a server will be to create a great dining experience for our guests! You will be expected to have full knowledge of our menu and standards in order to do this! The more confident and professional you are, the more likely it is that the guest will have an enjoyable experience. No food service experience is required but it is preferred. We prefer to hire for personality and train for skill in order to deliver the best experience in our market.

Role responsibilities include:

-maintaining a clean and organized workspace

-ongoing restocking of all areas

-accurate handling of money

-expedient on POS computer ordering system

-expert knowledge of entire menu

-take orders and serve guests according

to our standards

-responsible serving of alcoholic beverages

-perform functions according to our time standards

-assist other teammates throughout your shift

-being punctual and prepared for your shift at the

scheduled time

Minimum requirements include:

-Must be 18 or older

-Must be available to work Sundays

-Preferred availability Monday and Tuesday

-smile :)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, seasonal

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
