About the Position

· As a server at Mi Apá Latin café, you are responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through connection and hospitality driven customer excellences every time.

Responsibilities – Bulleted list of critical activities

· Providing the highest possible level of hospitality, quality and value to every customer

· Engaging customers and developing relationships

· Maintaining a positive attitude

· Execute the entire customer experience providing high quality food and beverages

· Cleaning and organizing work stations and other assigned areas to maintain the standards of our restaurant image

Requirements – Minimum qualifications

· At least 18 years of age

· Clear and professional demeanor

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize with efficiency

· Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic

· Detail orientated, efficient, and organized

· Strong guest service and hospitality skills

· Passion for Cuban food and human relations a major plus

Essential Physical Functions

· Ability to work up to 40 hours per week

· Ability to stand/walk 5-8 hours per shift

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently

· Required to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry

· Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments; indoors and outdoors

· Must be able to tolerate high levels of noise
