Title: Server, Le Depot Brasserie
Compensation: $8/hr + tips. Benefits available for full-time employees
Location: Park City, Utah
An exciting opportunity to work for a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. There is extensive room for growth with future phases including a boutique hotel, a luxury residential development, the Marcella Club at the new Mayflower ski resort and a Tiger Woods designed golf course.
Position Overview:
A Le Depot Server will create warm & hospitable dining experiences for our guests; through thoughtful & anticipatory service. You will handle guest concerns with tact and diplomacy. This position will be a key player in providing our guests with knowledgeable & gracious service.
Opening & Ongoing Duties
- Warmly great guests at the table and welcome them to the restaurant
- Explain menu items and take orders with knowledge & thoughtfulness
- Suggest cocktail/beverage orders; and highlight a particular favorite cocktail, wine or spirit
Qualifications
- 21 years of age with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate wine knowledge; knowledge of french cuisine preferred
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve problems using good judgment.
- Utah Food Handlers & Tips certification
Work Experience: 2+ years serving experience in a fine dining restaurant.
Education: High School Diploma; College degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods both in dining & kitchen areas.
- Exert physical effort in lifting stock and supply items (1-20 lbs.).
- Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments
