SERVER - LOCAL GOAT TAVERN OF PIGEON FORGE LLC

We are currently looking for highly energetic daytime servers to join us here at the Local Goat.  We are looking for exuberant personalities and amazing customer service skills. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with minimum of 1 years experience working in a full service restaurant, work 4 shifts minimum a week, and hold a current TN ABC Server Permit or have the ability to obtain a TN ABC Server Permit to sell alcoholic beverages.  Local Goat is an award winning restaurant concept devoted to scratch-made food and locally sourced products. Some of the essential functions for our servers include:

• Creating a warm, welcoming, and fun atmosphere for our guests and fellow employees. 
• Set places at dining tables, take orders, serve food and drinks. 
• Answer questions about food and drinks, including their ingredients, preparation, and accompanying items.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant by pre-busing tables, cleaning area around and under tables, clean, sanitize and restock server stations. 
• Perform all duties in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies. Must be able to maintain all food safety, work safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. 

Qualification Standards:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in accordance with the company uniform and appearance policies.
• Be able to operate a point of sale terminal, make change correctly, and complete credit card transactions
• Be able to deliver plates, food, clear tables, change soda boxes, and carry ice which may require lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to calmly respond to guests needs.
• Must be able to stand for 6 - 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to complete all training steps and knowledge checks.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
• Adhere to all alcohol awareness procedures for serving liquor, wine and beer.
