Position Overview:
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our clients. You will act as the main point of contact for all service inquiries and will work closely with our team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
The Service Advisor greets customers and communicates daily with customers on status of trucks. The Service Advisor also generates service and repair orders by ascertaining service requests and performance problems; verifies warranty and service contract coverage; inspects vehicles, writes repair orders and daily maintains customer rapport and records. The Service Advisor also reviews jobs when they are complete and closes jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and service requests
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Submit documentation for warranty repairs
- Follow up with customers after service is completed to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs
- Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and promotions in order to effectively communicate with customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Knowledge of automotive or mechanical systems is a plus
- Military experience is a plus, but not required
