The Mobile Hydraulic Division is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our growing team. Bosch Rexroth seeks those with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong desire to win. Someone who is motivated by the accomplishment of expanding our Aftermarket products into Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations (MRO) in end users’ customers, OEMs’ services, Resellers, and other sales channels, across several exciting applications.
This role will work out of a Regional Sales Office or Home Office depending on location. Home Office locations must be within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- As a service and aftermarket sales specialist, your focus is on the development, implementation, and management of dedicated service and aftermarket sales.
- Defining and tracking specific growth measures and maintaining the activity list.
- Analysis of market potential and mapping, definition of strategic approach, and description of business model.
- Manage all aspects of the MRO sales cycle within the US territory, including defining target customers, preparing an annual sales forecast, and maintaining monthly or quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Responsible for planning, implementation, and documentation of customer visits, identifying potential, and following up on the necessary activities.
- Achieve sales growth targets for Rexroth Hydraulic Aftermarket products by performing sales calls on Target accounts with installed Rexroth products or competitors’ products, depending upon the size and complexity of the accounts.
- Develop close contact to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Actively and aggressively pursue new MRO business growth by developing “Discovery accounts” (calls on unlisted accounts) each year.
- Provide hydraulic technical & applications expertise and commercial support.
- Proactively address and resolve customer issues, with management support.
- Candidate must be comfortable engaging and interacting with executive management, senior engineering, and technical personnel, as well as Procurement and Manufacturing personnel.
- Implementation of marketing activities, adapting global sales marketing material, or creating new marketing material.
- Develop and implement (with support from marketing) of social selling activities.
- Plan, prepare, organize Service and aftermarket relevant conferences, and prepare and attend industry trade shows, canvass shows, and perform booth duty.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, etc. as required.
- Communication between all involved parties (Customer, Plant, Industry Sector, Service Product Management, etc.). Aftermarket sales engineer/specialist builds the bridge between customers, back office, and operations.
- Consistently and effectively use CRM to document regular sales opportunities/account activity, customer information, opportunity tracking, quotations, account development, sales funnel forecasting, and coordinate required sales activities between regional sales, divisional / market sales, and management.
- Maintain files, prepare, and submit call, itinerary, and expense reports, as required, in a timely fashion.
- Travel domestically up to 50% in the US territory.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or in a technical field with 5 years of relevant service and aftermarket sales experience
- Work experience in either regional sales, Aftermarket sales, or a Key market segment.
- Basic Fluid Power Knowledge preferred
- Motivated self-starter with strong prioritization skills and to work independently.
- Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Must possess sufficient motor ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment which requires the ability to ascend and descend machinery, multiple flights of stairs, and step ladders.
- Able to lift, carry, and move objects of up to 50 lbs.
