Must live in the middle TN area, this is a full time in office position.
We are in search of an enthusiastic, professional, and detail-oriented Service Coordinator responsible for tracking/managing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Schedule/maintain appointments for service and inspections as needed
- Assist in scheduling and dispatching of Technicians (Start ups/repairs, warranty, maintenance).
- Create work orders, provide status to customer and follow up with technicians
- Confirm work orders are completed and closed; review all notes and follow up on pending items
- Coordinate activities such as scheduling, customer notification and material procurement with Service Manager
- Effectively and courteously communicate with the customer in order to schedule service/maintenance/sales calls
- Responsible for calling customers to remind them of the upcoming scheduled appointments. Keep the customer informed on any changes in technician arrival time
- Handle incoming service requests via phone or email, resulting in a service work order and scheduled or dispatched personnel
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to complete tasks with little direct supervision and/or direction
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented, good time management skills
- Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of roofing or construction industry practices a plus
