Dispatcher
Warminster, PA
Hourly Rate: $23.00-30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch driver/vehicles/equipment to appropriate customer locations
- Enters service calls, schedules calls, and generates call debriefings with techs daily
- Maintain the Service Technicians schedule. Verifies dispatched service calls are completed
- Organizing work requests, logging calls, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
- Service technician return trips with customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts
- Maintains "on-Call" schedule and after hour procedures
- Follow up and schedules all PM Service appointments
- Works closely with Service Admin to manage customer database, ensuring complete, accurate and updated entry of information
- Relay information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors or emergency personnel
- Follow up on customer requests for immediate needs
- Speak with customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
- Preparing daily work such as schedules
- Reviews completed service work orders for accuracy
- Performs initial payroll/timesheet audit
- Prepare invoices and timecards for processing
- manages conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing any concerns, questions or problems expediently. Relies on managerial support as needed
- Communicated and suggests ideas for operational improvement of the dispatch role and the Service Group in general
- Performs customer satisfaction surveys
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years as a dispatcher
- Geographical knowledge of the service area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Must be highly organized, a multi-tasker who pays attention to detail
- Possess exceptional customer service
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Able to work well with others
