Minimum Experience Requirements for Service Electrician


5+ years in the electrical service field, including commercial/industrial maintenance or service. Other relevant experience would be work in the fields of HVAC, plumbing, lighting/appliance repair, and low voltage or telecommunication installations.

+ Applicants must possess High School diploma or GED.






+ Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen.

Position Overview for Service Electrician







Specific job duties/responsibilities include the following:






+ Industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems repair, maintenance, and installation


+ Troubleshooting


+ Customer service


+ Ability to handle service contracts, work orders, change orders, and billings


+ Daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting as requested by the department manager


+ Periodic support of the company’s commercial construction operations as needed


+ Increasing and/or promoting the company’s visibility and image in the community


+ Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by the department manager
