Service Manager - Growing Mechanical Servicing Company - Base Salary to 130k/year - Detroit, MI

• Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical servicing company handling service and preventative maintenance, has an immediate need for a Service Manager to oversee the Service Team in the Greater Detroit area.  Our client has been in business for over 20 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry.
• In this role, the Service Manager will lead a Service Team of around 15 people who are responsible for repairing and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial buildings.  The Service Manager will be responsible for customer service, creating accountability for the technicians, and handling technical support. The Service Manager will be responsible for training technicians on technical issues and customer service, as well as hiring and growing the department.  The Service Manager will also create relationships with large clients as well as work with the sales team to close deals and make sure accounts are profitable.

Qualifications: for this role include at least 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, with some experience in leadership.  Candidate should have a strong in-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and the ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics and control circuits.  Must have excellent leadership, customer service and general sales skills.

Compensation: for this position will include a base salary in the 110k – 130k/year range.  Also included will be a company vehicle or car allowance and gas card.  The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, PTO and much more.  Additionally, there are other perks tied to company culture that make it a plus to work for this family-owned business!
