SERVICE AND SUPPORT MANAGER
Expectations for this position
- 10 plus years management experience preferred
- Past management experience in the Machine Tool industry preferred
- Manage and motivate employees across different roles in a positive team environment
- Assist in developing business strategies and implementing action plans to meet the objectives.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Past experience and knowledge in customer service roles
- High level of problem solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems implementation and ability to assist with documenting SOP procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
Customer service and Technical support
- Ensure we meet customer expectations and satisfaction to the best of our abilities through (but not limited to) the following:
- Work order processing: inspection, upgrade, repair, and accessory install by the technicians
- Machine installations and training
- Telephone and field service support
- Develop system to report product quality and service feedback
- Service training school (on-site and off-site and virtual)
- Parts sales and technical support
- Warranty Issue solving
- Sales support (tradeshows, demonstrations, applications and testing)
- Set up and maintain a Service network consisting of service distributors, independent contractors, and direct employee(s) through continuous training.
- Help Service Team for problem solving in mechanical, electrical, PLC and hydraulic
- Support development of high functioning teams by working to continuously improve the service operations.
Inventory Control
- Experience working with all aspects of Inventory control and processing (Including but not limited to)
- Incoming parts receiving transactions
- Pick and packing of customers orders
- Cycle counting
- Process purchase orders to replenish item stock levels
- Managing item inventory levels on a daily basis
