Duties:
This ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and
enhancing a custom Onboard application built on the ServiceNow platform. This
position reports to the Associate Director - Development who is seeking candidates

This ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and
enhancing a custom Onboard application built on the ServiceNow platform. This
position reports to the Associate Director - Development who is seeking candidates
who have a:

- Perform and/or participate in discovery and design work sessions to determine
- best practice solution requirements and produce deliverables, including mock-ups,
- flow diagrams, etc.
- Refine and manage release management best practices (Update Sets, Information
- Sets, Cloning, naming conventions, etc.) for customizations and upgrades to the
- platform and applications
- Assist business owners with leveraging ServiceNow with disciplined design and
- implementation approaches
- Candidate should be able to read and understand Object Oriented code on a high level.
- Candidate must demonstrate the following ServiceNow knowledge/skills:
- Performing Glide Record Operations on a Table
- Scripting in Business Rule using the current and/or previous object
- Calling Script Includes
- Able to make REST API Outbound Calls and SOAP Outbound Calls with basic
- Authentication
- Understand WSDL and JSON
- Hands-on experience with Import Sets and Transform Maps
- Participated in at least one platform upgrade
- Update Set creation/usage and change migration
- Development/unit testing of Script Includes, Business Rules, Notifications
- and Notification Email Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, System Logs, UI Scripts, UI
- Pages, Security Roles/Groups and Reports
- Strong debugging skills which take advantage of Background Scripts, Fix
- Scripts, ServiceNow JavaScript Debugger
- MID servers usage, deployment and configuration
- Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, JQuery and web browser technology (XML, HTML,
- Web Services, etc.)
- Angular, Bamboo, Backbone, RAML, Marionette, JIRA
- Experience with ServiceNow Encryption Context, Scripted REST/SOAP
- API's, OAuth Authentication mechanisms
- Familiarity with GIT
- Experience building custom business applications on the ServiceNow platform
- Agile Software development practices
- Experience dealing with technical end-users in a support role
- Working knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure and Web Services
- Experience working directly with customers and clients
- ServiceNow Certifications a plus.
