Daikin Applied is seeking a District Service Manager who will be responsible for the management and leadership of the field service office. This includes oversite of the Service and Solution Account Manager and Field Service Technician teams.
The District Manager will be fully responsible for P&L and financing the office to ensure revenue and profit goals are met. The District Manager will also be responsible for overseeing customer relations. This role requires a leader who inspire others and drive district growth activities to meet annual quotas focused on operating income, revenue, and maintenance agreements.
Location: Onsite with travel to job sites and engaging with customers
What you will do:
* Drive district growth by executing our sales strategy and business development initiatives
* Develop and implement business plans, strategies, and objectives to ensure that sales quotas and financial targets are not just met but exceeded, positioning us as leaders in the industry.
* Take ownership of managing the district P&L and ensure the achievement of financial goals, including revenue and operating income targets
* Customer Satisfaction: Develop comprehensive plans and allocate resources to meet contract obligations and meet customer expectations
* Lead and mentor our sales and fulfillment team, nurturing their skills and abilities to enable growth in service and repair, complex turnkey, building automation, and energy solution projects.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners where sales objectives are effectively communicated and achieved.
* Provide exceptional leadership for our service team, empowering them to succeed and maximize their potential through coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and skill development
* Take charge of the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees
* Champion the implementation of our company culture, emphasizing safety and People Centered Management in the district
* Ensure district adheres to all safety standards and metrics, while also maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local legal regulations and statutes.
* Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by involving staff in planning and decision-making, soliciting, and applying feedback from internal and external sources to enhance processes, products, and services
* Oversee company assets and inventory, ensuring proper cost control and operational efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree of a relatable field or equivalent working experience
* 5 years related experience
* Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated success when leading a sales and service team
* Prior leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations
* Prior experience working with financial statements and managing P&L
* Proficient knowledge of HVAC designs, applications, and energy saving solutions
