Key responsibilities of a service technician include:

Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Issues: Service technicians are skilled at identifying problems and malfunctions in equipment or systems. They use diagnostic tools, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to pinpoint the root causes of issues.

Repair and Maintenance: Service technicians perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks to restore equipment to working condition. This can involve replacing faulty components, performing software updates, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper calibration.

Customer Interaction: Service technicians often communicate directly with customers to understand the issues they are experiencing and to provide updates on the status of repairs. Effective communication and customer service skills are essential in this role.

Documentation: Accurate record-keeping is important for tracking repairs, maintenance schedules, parts used, and other important information related to the equipment they service.

Preventive Maintenance: Service technicians may also be responsible for scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. These tasks help prevent potential issues and extend the lifespan of the equipment.

Training and Support: In some cases, service technicians provide training and support to customers on how to use and maintain the equipment properly to avoid future problems.
