Description:
We are looking for experienced medical device technicians/ Biomedical Technician that will work independently to service our client's lifts and hoists in acute care facilities and long term care facilities.
This is a travel position covering Dallas, Central Texas (Waco, Temple, Bonham), Oklahoma City, OK.

Objective:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the servicing, testing, inspection, and/or repair of ceiling lift track systems following manufacturer specifications and meet all local state and federal codes requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Service, tests, inspects, and repairs ceiling lift track systems following manufacturer specifications
- Swaps or exchanging components of manufacturers equipment
- Meets all local, state, and federal code requirements
- Examines facilities' structural environment to ensure installation compatibility with ceiling lift systems
- Communicates with hospital staff as to the scheduling of inspections and service calls
- Service electronic equipment, such as ceiling mounted patient hoists, battery chargers.
- Service and maintain track system
- Troubleshoot low voltage electrical issues
- Adheres to all Guldmann service guidelines and testing procedures
- Conducts Quality Control/Spot inspections with in the US
- Handles multiple projects at one time/field day to day questions for issues on repairs
- Follows OSHA guidelines
- Assist in servicing and inspecting equipment that comes to our Tampa service center.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or GED and experience as a DME preferred.
- Good understanding of basic small electronics
- A basic understanding of building construction
- Good working knowledge of tools related to small electronic repair with the ability to use safely and properly
- travel 50% within USA
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Ability to follow infection control procedures and guidelines set by facility
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move up to 65 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
