Service Technician - Spherion

The machine service technician will perform installation, repairs and maintenance of specialty machines using mechanical/electrical skillset. Installation includes set up of new machines and relocating operational machines. Repairs include troubleshooting issues via phone; email; on-site visits.

Responsibilities:

• Machine maintenance, troubleshooting, maintenance knowledge
• Troubleshoot Mechanical/Electrical issues of equipment
• Perform customer training
• Provide support to Sales and Service

Skills:

• Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical
• 5 years Mechanical/Electrical experience
• Machine set-up including installation; setting into operation
• Read Mechanical/Electrical drawings/schematics
• PLC & Servo Motors

Qualifications:

• Ability to work alone and with internal/external customers
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Microsoft Office (Outlook; Excel; Word)
• Ability to life or move up to 75 pounds
• Standing; Walking; Reaching; Sitting; Bending; Twisting
