Looking for a Highly Experienced Service Journeyman Plumber!

Location: Hartselle, AL

Pay Range: $25-$38 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: 40-65 hours per week

United Trades of Americais seeking for a highly experienced Journeyman Plumber for Hartselle, AL that has 5 plus years of experience that can handle a variety of plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally in commercial and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in both residentials homes and commercial buildings, making sure water, gas and drainage systems are functioning efficiently
• Installing a wide range of plumbing fixtures, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, dishwashers, garbage disposals, water heaters, proper alignment and secure connections
• -Perform routine Maintenace on septic systems, including pumping septic tanks, inspecting distribution boxes, and ensuring proper function of drain fields
• Respond to wide variety of plumbing emergencies, including burst pipes, major leaks, sewer backups, and gas line issues, to minimize damage and restore normal function
• Use specialized equipment, such as pressure gauges, ultrasonic leak detectors, and smoke machines, to pinpoint areas of concern within the plumbing system
• Provide homeowners or building managers with detailed assessments of their plumbing systems, including recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or preventative maintenance
• Disassemble and clean components, such as valves or filters, to remove buildup or blockages, then reassemble and test for proper operation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in service plumbing
• Preferred journeyman plumbing and gas license
• Extensive knowledge with practical experience in residential and commercial plumbing systems and equipment
• Local to Hartselle, AL
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
• Can pass a drug screening and background check
• Has reliable Transportation
• Must have a clean driving record
