Skill Profile:
- ITIL Foundation is a must, CSAM Certification is preferred
- Candidate who has worked in Software Asset Management will be preferred.
- Expertise in Excel reporting
- Exceptional Customer service skills and client focus
- Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to work with all levels of client and internal resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language
- Knowledge of different vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.) and their licensing models is must
- Should be able to analyze the impact of any change in IT environment/ infrastructure on licensing
- Candidate should have experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro Module
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of SAM Process, set-up of status reports and improvement process based on best practices
- Planning, steering and training of the other license management roles
- Quality check related to commercial information
- Evaluation and management of measures based on the current compliance situation (e.g. license transfer)
- Elaboration of a realistic forecast of software (maintenance) requirements (Demand planning)
- Regular provision of information about the commercial entitlements (purchases, agreements)
- Storage of the license certificates
- Carry out License Optimization activities on both server and client applications
- Set-up and maintaining of the software entitlement inventory
- Provision of relevant data for SAM or in case of audits
- Documentation of the license situation / Preparation of license balance
- Analysis / Consulting of necessary measures
- Enrichment of data with SAM relevant information
- Elaboration and publishing of the license position of all products based on the license metric
- Define and produce the reports in line with the requirements of the customer
- Able to report on Under and over licensed software
- Communicate audit findings with senior level executives while preserving client relationship
