Set Up Technician (Plastics) - Impact Business Group

• Set up and maintain production equipment, including presses, stamping machines, and robotics.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize downtime.
• Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Document equipment maintenance and repair activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment setup and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
