Setup Tech - Relocation assistance

A top plastic injection molding company is looking for quality Setup Tech for their MS facility to help manufacturer a wide variety of molded parts and assemblies.  

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a production/job shop environment and 1 to 3 years direct experience in the injection molding environment as a Setup Technician.
• Knowledge to setup injection molding machines and tooling including but not limited to ejector, water, nozzle, temperature controller, and auxiliary equipment.
• Quality conscious and interested in improvement techniques and teamwork
• Ability to be a hands-on individual
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Setup all scheduled machines in an efficient and economical manner per requirements
• Follow proper mold clamping procedure
• Clean mold and machine platen after removal
• Assure that all molds are protected and all waterlines are blown out
• Put away molds in proper location
• Mark molds for maintenance, repair and storage
• Keep mold bases and mold base accessories clean and organized
• Keep company provided tools complete, clean and organized
