Clearance: Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders due to Security Clearance . Candidates can start before clearance is approved.

Project Overview : Migrating a very large legacy SharePoint 2019 site to SharePoint online. Using leading tools (SharGate and Azure Cognitive Services) to compress the timeline. Also need to explore using Azure Cognitive Services to filter records to weed out older/unused data as part of the migration.

Job Description :

• Develop migration plan to migrate a SharePoint site from SharePoint Server 2019 to SharePoint Online using ShareGate
• Use Azure Cognitive Services to classify and tag legacy data
• Work with .NET developers to migrate and test 8 legacy workflows
• Analyze legacy data to assist in development of a records retention policy that defines which records will not be migrated
• Provide weekly status reports to identify progress, blockers, dependencies, and risks.
• Looking for at least 5 or 6 years' experience with SharePoint and some degree of experience with ShareGate.
• Azure Cognitive Services would be nice to have

Industry Experience :

• Using the ShareGate tool to perform a SharePoint migration. Experience using Azure Cognitive Services to classify and tag SharePoint data would be a plus – but not required.
