SharePoint Developer/Administrator - Remote - Maximus

About the Job
Maximus is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to assist the HHS government client team remotely in conducting requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of a HHS SharePoint site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
- Design and develop software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members.
- Support testing and remediate defects.
- May mentor entry and mid-level developers.
- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions in SharePoint environments. This may include custom features deployment
- Working directly with the federal government to capture specific requirements and design specifications for development and deployment
- If necessary, develop a simple project plan with key tasks, milestones, and deployment date
- Manage SharePoint account access
- Develop SharePoint forms and custom reports
- Train system/application users
- Identify, document, and resolve SharePoint issues
- SharePoint AP Development
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint architecture patterns including all service applications
-Well-developed knowledge of solution architecture using SharePoint and related technologies
- Knowledge of SharePoint APIs and solution implementation best practices
- Understanding the Service Application architecture and how it is being utilized
- Knowledge of all editions of SharePoint as well as previous versions
- Experience of SQL, IIS, Windows Server
- Experience and senior level understanding of storage, network and server technologies related to SharePoint
- Basic operation, tuning, backup, and recovery of SQL Server
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of related experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 yrs. Experience working directly with a government system owner
- Experience in installing and implementing SQL BI tools, including SQL Server Reporting Services, within a SharePoint environment
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint search technologies
- At least five (5) years of experience, within the last eight (8) years, performing architectural planning, implementation, migration, and administration of multi-application SharePoint farms including SharePoint 2010, 2013, and Office 365/SharePoint Online.
- At least five (5) years of experience, within the last eight (8) years, performing design and development of web sites, applications, and custom web parts for the SharePoint platform.
-At least four (4) years of experience creating highly usable internet and intranet applications using C# for ASP.NET, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, & CSS
- Knowledge of and Experience with Microsoft SharePoint platforms/systems
- Must clear HHS Level-5 or Level-6 background investigations; U.S. Citizens and/or green card holders preferred.
- Ability to effectively work independently and remote
- Ability to work directly with a government client.
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
