Propper International Sales, a leading provider of tactical and outdoor gear, is seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Developer Contractor to join our team in St. Charles, MO. This one-year contract position, with a possibility of renewal, offers a unique opportunity to design, develop, and manage our SharePoint environment, supporting our business operations and enhancing our technological infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint development and administration, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver top-tier solutions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Develop and implement SharePoint applications, integrations, and interfaces, ensuring alignment with functional program specifications. This includes designing and developing SharePoint solutions, such as sites, libraries, forms, workflows, metadata, web parts, and master pages.
- System Administration: Administer the SharePoint environment, which includes managing security, permissions, backups, and performance tuning. Oversee the lifecycle of SharePoint systems from design through deployment.
- Consultation & Best Practices: Advise stakeholders on SharePoint best practices and patterns, particularly leveraging out-of-the-box functionality. Provide guidance on the efficient use of SharePoint features to meet business needs.
- Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for users to ensure effective utilization of SharePoint tools and functionalities. Offer support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Job Requirements and Essential Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of development experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET frameworks.
- At least 4 years of experience working with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
- Significant experience (4+ years) using SharePoint Designer for workflow development.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge and skills in C#, VB, ASP.NET, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, ADO.NET, and Power Apps.
- Additional Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Good project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
