SharePoint Developer
Location: Lansing, Michigan (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Candidate Preference: Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Lansing, MI
Work Authorization: W2 Candidates Only
Years of Experience: 8+
Must-Have Skills:
- SharePoint: 4+ years of experience with SharePoint development and administration.
- Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Apex/Visualforce: Proficiency in Apex and Visualforce development for Salesforce customizations (if applicable).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and custom applications.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy SharePoint solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SharePoint features and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
- SDLC Knowledge: Understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite and SharePoint development tools.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a development team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer Service: Ability to provide quality customer service and build strategic relationships.
Desired Skills:
- DevOps & BI: Knowledge and/or experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, SQL, or Linux is a plus.
