Description Summary: Under the direction of our Ramp;D department the ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will work in a dynamic environment also assisting our Ramp;D Department when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Fabricate and weld metal components using techniques such as MIG welding

· Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly

· Operate forklifts to transport materials within the workshop

· Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication

· Work with sheet metal to create custom pieces

· Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues

Job Skills and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
• Experience with TIG welding a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of calipers and other measuring instruments for accurate fabrication
• Ability to weld steel and aluminum proficiently
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges
