Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman with extensive knowledge of architectural sheet metal products and systems. The ideal candidate will possess advanced planning skills to establish maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret various technical documents and regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and manage workforce, materials, and equipment to ensure maximum productivity.
+ Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
+ Perform mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Represent the company in a professional manner, promoting the organization positively and productively.
+ Identify and resolve problems, multitask, follow through on tasks to completion, prioritize tasks effectively, and work with a sense of urgency.
Essential Skills
+ Extensive knowledge of architectural sheet metal products and systems.
+ Advanced planning skills for workforce, materials, and equipment management.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication.
+ Ability to perform mathematical operations in various units of measure.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 5-8 years of related experience and/or training.
+ Comfortable with occasional travel and out-of-town work.
+ Available to work extended hours when necessary.
+ Must not be afraid of heights.
