Sheet Metal Lead Mechanic - McKenney's Inc.

• Hold all crew members accountable for to all McKenney’s Safety, Quality, and Production expectations
• Conduct Flex & Stretch with all crew members
• Complete Safety Net Observation for each work area(Paper or on App)
• Plan each day’s task with crew and complete PTP for work area.
• Communicate and log goals and tasks for each crew member
• Ensure crew has all tools, equipment, and material  necessary to complete daily task
• Work with Project Foreman in selection of manpower for area tasks
• Resolve any issues that may arise for work area and address with Project Foreman as necessary
• Coordinate shop and warehouse deliveries with Project Foreman
• Look for and address any safety issues in each work area throughout the day
• Coordinate with other trades in work area to ensure goals are met.
• Turn in time for each crew member
• Complete daily report as necessary
• Maintain quality installation of all materials
• Ensure daily goals are met and communicated with Project Foreman
• Mentor all new employees on the necessary requirements and company policy’s

• Maintain completion list to minimize go back work
• Attend project coordination meetings as required by Project Foreman
• Communication with Project Foreman, Superintendent, and PM on area level of completion as well as emerging threats as necessary.
