The Role:
As Shift Manager, you'll be the point person for our floor team, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and our customers leave smiling. This role will need someone self-motivated with an ability to problem solve, persevere and keep the vibes right!
***Full time needed with open availability, must be willing to close***
Responsibilities include:
- Team Leader: Oversee the bud tending squad, guiding, supporting, and helping everyone deliver top-notch service.
- Sales Floor Guru: The sales floor is the most important part! Pay attention to customers and bud tenders, help by assisting with and delegating any cleaning, organizing, and other tasks needed to keep the sales floor looking ship shape and stocked
- Customer Happiness Officer: Be on the floor to connect with customers, answer questions, and make sure they're having the best experience possible.
- Inventory Helper: Assist in any inventory counts when needed and be aware of inventory needs or current inventory (we do have an inventory rep so just as back up assistance), and restocking
- Cash Flow Boss: Maintain safe, safe counts, tip pools, employee till's and change exchanges and all other daily cash handling with accuracy.
- Compliance Captain: Keep up to date with compliance, OLCC rules and regulations, as well as store policies and procedures! Always be ready to answer questions for bud tenders and customers.
- Vibe Setter: Keep energy high and morale up, making sure the dispensary feels welcoming, organized, and just the right amount of chill.

About You:
- Cannabis Knowledge - You know the difference between terpenes and THC percentages and can talk shop with everyone from newbies to aficionados.
- Leadership Skills - You're a natural motivator who knows how to lead by example and isn't afraid to jump in and get hands-on.
- Positive Mindset - This role is a big responsibility which can sometimes come with stress. We need our new shift assistant manager to keep a positive mindset and always communicate professionally (there are people looking up to you)
- Organizational Prowess - Multitasking and prioritizing are your superpowers; you're quick on your feet and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Focused - You genuinely enjoy helping people, solving problems, and creating memorable experiences.
- Be Open Minded and Flexible - Not everyday is perfect, be open to trying and doing new things especially on the days that are somewhat stressful.
- Experience - Retail management experience is a must; prior cannabis experience is a big plus!
