About the Job
Restaurant Shift Leader work as part of a team that provides excellent service and high-quality food in a clean, friendly and fun atmosphere. As a Shift Leader you will lead by example and train crew members on your shift. You will address customer concerns and ensure employees are working safely and meeting break and time-keeping standards. You will be an outstanding trainer. You will solve problems and contact appropriate personnel. You will place all restaurant orders and provide paperwork support.
You will also learn all the different areas of the restaurant and will be trained to do all of the following:
- Cashier - Provide excellent service with a big smile.
- Cook - Provide fresh quality product in a timely manner.
- Food Prep - Prep fresh produce for our products.
- Light Janitorial - Keeping the restaurant clean and comfortable for our customers.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Run a smooth shift
- Complete all the tasks with the Team Member
- Make sure employees follow Nation’s standards, guidelines, and checklists
- Be an expert in People Leadership
Job Expectations
- Be on time and follow attendance policies
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Monitor sales throughout the shift and encourage team to suggestively sell
- Place all orders accurately and on time (pies, produce and meat)
- Put away deliveries • Help resolve shortages
- Report maintenance issues and call maintenance team for emergencies
- Process all customer coupons/promotions (BOGO, etc.)
