Shift Lead - Marco's Pizza - WAKE FOREST

The Raleigh-owned and operated Marco’s Pizza franchise is looking for Shift Leaders.

The Shift Lead is responsible for leading and developing an engaged team to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales, and control costs for their restaurant.

In addition to following Marco’s standard operating policies and procedures, main areas of focus/responsibility include (but are not limited to):

• People Leadership & Development
• Demonstrate and reinforce the Marco’s leadership behaviors and values
• Customer Service
• Create a 5-Star Guest Experience and Service Standards
• Exceed guest expectation
• Effectively handle customers’ needs
• Marketing/Financial Responsibilities
• Ensure Marco’s is viewed as a business partner of choice within the community we serve
• Increase same store sales period over period
• Control cost of goods, variances, and inventories within the store
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Product & Facility Standards
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, timely service, and store cleanliness
• Maintain all physical aspects of the store, including landscaping, building maintenance, equipment, etc.
• Operational Management
• Ensure that all daily paperwork, weekly inventories and statistical reports are completed accurately and timely
• Corporate & Legal Compliance
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met
• Maintain safety and personnel records
• Comply with all Corporate, State, and Federal guidelines related to employment, finance, and operational practices

Job Type: Part-Time and Full-time

Pay Scale: Hourly

Experience/Qualifications:

• Restaurant management: 1 year minimum
• Strong leadership skills
• Desire to grow and develop for greater responsibility
