DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the Community Technicians. Assist the Assistant Director of Operations with the oversight of departmental tasks and goals. Engage individuals in a client-centered approach while ensuring security and safety of the building, respond to emergency and crisis situations, monitor and report on notable events involving clients and/or staff, and assist clients with activities of daily living. This includes, but is not limited to, record keeping, completing statistical reports, unit coverage, conflict management and client care/crisis intervention. Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and case conferences when needed. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
- Wed-Fri 8am-9:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. diploma/GED required. B.A. preferred. One year supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and with individuals living with mental illness and substance abuse preferred. Experience working in residential settings also preferred. Excellent writing skills and computer literacy required. NYC Fire Safety Certification, CPR Certification a plus or a willingness to acquire these certifications/licenses. Bilingual abilities a plus.
