You will oversee baristas and lead baristas, acting as the manager on duty in the absence of the store or assistant manager. Your Role in Store Operations

In the busy world of retail, organization and cleanliness are paramount. As a Shift Supervisor, you will maintain a clean, stocked, and organized environment while assisting in the distribution of product shipments as needed. You will handle all POS duties and manage front and back-of-house functions, including opening and closing procedures, all while coordinating with the Corporate Office to ensure seamless operations.

Effective communication is key, and you will play a significant role in establishing a positive atmosphere among team members. You will work closely with the store manager to maintain proper coverage and schedules, ensuring that customer service standards are met and that team members adhere to meal and break policies. Your accountability will extend to cash handling procedures, as you will be responsible for store funds while running your shifts.

As the embodiment of outstanding service, you will proactively solve customer issues and ensure all team members greet customers with personalized, efficient service. Building rapport is essential; therefore, learning customers' names and favorite orders will become second nature to you. You will lead by example, consistently monitoring and coaching team members to meet our high service standards. Ensuring Product Quality

Training and Development

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, alongside at least one year of retail experience or six months in specialty coffee. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, as well as basic computer skills. Your well-organized, detail-oriented nature will enable you to multi-task effectively, even during peak hours.
