Job Title:          Shift Supervisor 

Department:     Production

Reports To:      Production Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE or JOB SUMM...

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree preferred. Will consider a combination of experience and education in lieu of a 4-year degree.

5+ years experience in a high volume, fast paced packaging or production environment.   

Experience and working knowledge of 5S, SMED, gemba walks, LEAN tools, and the DMAIC process.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including relationship management, conflict resolution skills, and technical writing proficiency.  

Strong leadership skills. Lead by example.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to train others

Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Flexibility to work any shift, as assigned by management.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, if required by business needs.

Able to stand and walk for 8+ hours.

Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Production areas and/ or warehouse setting. Standing or walking for periods of 8 hours or more.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Experience in a cGMP environment preferred. Experience in writing deviations within the pharmaceutical industry is helpful.
