Shift Supervisor - Nation's Restaurants

About the Job
Nation’s Shift Supervisors have a bias for action and take initiative. The Shift Supervisor works on the production floor alongside the employees and runs an efficient and productive shift. They are flexible, performs all restaurant tasks and works with employees to deliver excellent customer service and quality food. The Shift Supervisor encourages, trains and creates a positive environment for the team. The Shift Supervisor will support and cover management.
A Shift Supervisor will learn all the different areas of the restaurant and will be trained to do all of the following:
- Cashier - Provide excellent service with a big smile.
- Cook - Provide fresh quality product in a timely manner.
- Food Prep - Prep fresh produce for our products.
- Light Janitorial - Keeping the restaurant clean and comfortable for our customers.
Other Responsibilities will include:
- Run a smooth shift
- Complete all the tasks with the employees
- Follow Nation’s standards, guidelines and checklists
- Hold employees accountable to excellent performance
Job Expectations
- Be on time and follow attendance policies
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Cover days off for Assistant Manager and/or General Manager Shift Supervisor

- Interpersonal skills for being coachable and easy to work with
- People skills for customer and employee interaction
- Multitasking skills for running a smooth shift
- Verbal skills for directly employees and talking to customers
- Reading skills for understanding orders
- Food handling skills for preparing and cooking food correctly and safely
- Awareness skills for positioning crew members and preventing accidents
