Role
The selected individual must be a self-driven individual, yet willing to serve others. The person will influence and be responsible for several facets of the organization, including but not limited to front counter, drive thru, kitchen operations, scheduling of team members, assist in recruitment and selection of new team member talent, guest & team member experience, food safety and quality, labor productivity, expense control. He/she will also responsible for leading sub groups of 10-40 team members in the organization, influence actions of the team, and the overall reputation of the brand. We are recruiting for a hands-on, results-oriented individual who desires to advance in the organization with higher roles and responsibilities. Some people attracted to this position desire to become a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator, learn how to run their own small business, develop leadership skills, or pursue a long-term role within our local franchised organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the coordination of your department(s) within the business and operations
- Work closely with the Operator and/or Executive Team to set goals for profitability of the business
- Exhibit ownership in the restaurant through a growth mindset. Analyze Monthly, Weekly and Daily reports and provides timely and competent administrative management of sales, inventory, customer objectives, etc.
- Ability to drive high level results and lead complex and diverse teams
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for the restaurant
- Control labor and food costs for shifts under your leadership
- Ability to train at high levels and develop future and current leadership
- Oversee inventory management and month end processes
- Acquire a “Global Knowledge” of the business and execute and strategize as an entrepreneur
- Lead shifts that successfully hit target numbers 90% of the time
- Drive continuous improvement and assist marketing in efforts to increase transaction count
- Promote unity among team members and leadership through effective and timely communication of vision, weekly events
- Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Ability to engage in immediate problem resolution and short-term plans to correct critical issues
- Meet with Executive Leadership Team as a strategic partner
- Ensure proper Chick-fil-A standards are taught and maintained with measurable results
- Keep store in like-new condition through equipment and facilities maintenance
- Ensure a balanced profit approach through intentional focus on labor, food cost, and IPO
- Partner with Talent/HR Leader to interview and select top talent
- Coach and develop Team Members, Team Leaders, and other leaders

- Analytical and meticulous working style with a desire for self-growth
- Computer proficiency including e-mail, Microsoft Suite Applications, and data analysis reports
Additional Requirements:
- Be available to work 45 plus hours per week, including Saturdays – evenings are required
- Must enjoy working with people - the public and employees. Related experience, in any industry, with leading people is preferred; restaurant based experience is not necessarily preferred. Some of our successful leaders have come from various non-restaurant backgrounds.

Salary: Up to $42,000 per year

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Must be able to reliably commute to work location before starting work.
