SCHEDULE:
1st shif, Monday - Friday, rotating weekends
POSITION SUMMARY:
Shipping Coordinator: This position is responsible for supporting the Warehouse shipping and raw goods operation in the areas of administrative support and logistical coordination to achieve operational excellence through teamwork resulting in decisions and responsibility at the point of execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform all clerical duties including SAP transactions directly related to warehouse activity
+ Provide logistical support by:
+ Coordinate all communication between Deployment, Transportation, Yard Driver, and 3PL services such as CHEP pallets.
+ Coordinate movement of trailers.
+ Coordinate high-rise activity for raw receipt locating and production requirements of raw pallets with similar operation of finished product drop/pick-up.
+ Assemble all staging sheets, receiving log, deviation, etc., that is needed for shift.
+ Perform daily heath checks and log for completion.
+ Coordinate CHEP Pallets, Scrap, Canadian Loads
+ Work to resolve any SAP issues in warehouse.
+ Schedule inbound and outbound appointments as needed.
+ Check in/out drivers and ensure all paperwork is accurate.
+ Manage and Organize all filing of warehouse paperwork/documents.
+ Back up to Receiving Coordinator.
+ Perform a daily physical trailer inventory and rectify in PINC verifying all trailer information is accurate
+ Perform physical finished good inventory and coordinate needs with Inventory Control
+ Stay in close communication with production planners for any schedules updates and/or deviations
+ Must maintain open communication with current and future trucking companies.
+ Other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
+ SAP experience
+ Logistics experience
+ Strong background in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Must have legible handwriting with attention to detail
+ Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances which may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm.
+ Must observe good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
+ Must follow safety rules and procedures.
+ Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week on an assigned shift with daily and weekend overtime as needed.
