EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma, Associate's degree (A. A.) preferred.
• Minimum of two years working in a manufacturing environment and planning/scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP system.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Prepares documentation, maintains records and coordinates logistics for product shipment.
• Oversees incoming and outgoing activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
• Leads communications within the shipping/receiving dept. Schedules and coordinates both domestic and international freight forwarder transactions.
• Maintains shipping records, including providing tracking and/or shipping history information to internal and external customers upon request.
• Forecast daily shipments and provide the results to the Back-End Operations Manager daily.
• Liaisons with and between the Sales and Quality Assurance(QA) teams daily.
• Prepares shipping and receiving paperwork as well as complete administrative actions in the Integration Point (IP) system.
• Provide direction, guidance and training to shipping/receiving personnel.
• Participate in annual Inventory audits.
• Effectively lead cross-functional root cause and corrective actions to resolve customer-related shipping issues.
• Coordinate with the production and Quality team to develop weekly and monthly production plan.
• Develops a production shipping schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted shipping date.
• Troubleshoots problems that occur shipping/production process, including staff shortagesThis is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and is not all inclusive. Incumbent(s) may and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
