True’s Parts Department ships to customers in the US and to countries across the globe to provide industry leading post-sales support. The Shipping Coordinator schedules and prepares documents for domestic shipments and ensures compliance with export regulations through preparation of international shipping documents, logistics coordination across all modes of transportation, and serves as primary contact for our parcel shipping partners.
Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare all necessary shipping paperwork and process all export documentation.
- Research export shipping requirements for various countries, shipments and transportation modes.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders based on customer requirements, destination country import requirements and product shipment requirements.
- Schedules pickups with LTL carriers, prepares required paperwork and Bill of Lading documentation.
- Provide appropriate, consistent, and timely communication with internal customers, external customers, and carriers to ensure accurate processing of orders, invoices, and shipments.
- Obtain Hazardous Materials Shipping Certification, process shipments of hazardous materials.
- Support sales with timely preparation of shipping rates and quotes for customers.
- Other responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to, sales order entry, credit card processing, miscellaneous administrative, Estore administration, and inter-company logistics coordination.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- CTPAT certification, Hazmat Ground, Hazmat Air (IATA) preferred.
- JD Edwards proficient.
- Service parts knowledge.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Customer service driven and focused.
The hours for this position are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
