About the Job
The Shipping Lead will manage and coordinate all shipping activities within our linen rental warehouse. This role involves supervising the shipping team, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of orders, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the shipping process.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the shipping team, including assigning tasks and providing training. Ensure the team meets productivity and accuracy goals.
Shipping Coordination: Oversee the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of linen orders. Ensure that all shipments are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Floor Supervisor to ensure adequate stock for upcoming shipments. Address any discrepancies or issues related to inventory.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all linens are packed and shipped to meet company standards. Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or shipping errors.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including order details, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmations. Prepare and submit reports on shipping performance and any issues encountered.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping or logistics role. Experience in a linen rental or similar industry is a plus.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in shipping software and warehouse management systems.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or relevant certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and operate shipping equipment as needed.
