Shipping and Receiving Associate - Redshift Recruiting LLC

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's team. This is a temporary position located outside of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will include:*Perform a blend of duties, including loading and unloading trucks and processing shipping and receiving documentation.
*Accurately pick and pack products by reading and interpreting purchase orders, packaging labels, skid labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
*Maintain integrity of inventory records and assist with inventory control.
*Schedule and coordinate shipments and deliveries with in-house facilities and outside vendors.
*Communicate with vendors, shippers, and internal departments via phone and email to schedule shipments, resolve discrepancies, and obtain authorizations.
*Issue necessary paperwork according to Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
*Edit and update reports, invoices, and shipping/receiving documents to accurately reflect materials received and shipped.


Qualifications of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk:*Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification (preferred)
*Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including both hot and cold environments.
*Strong safety awareness with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
*Physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
*Proficiency with computers, including experience with Microsoft Office.
*High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18/hr.
