Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Marvin

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for receiving and unloading product from our factory, standard warehouse operations, loading installer vehicles, and supporting some building and grounds work. This position will operate as part of a high-performing team that focuses on quality, safety, and on-time delivery to ensure a world class level of customer satisfaction.

Highlights of your role:

• Load and unload product from factory trucks, ensuring product is loaded securely and safely; organize stock in warehouse.
• Inspect product for damages and report as needed; perform minor repairs
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, warehouse, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; trash and recycling maintenance
• Assist inside office colleagues with special tasks as needed
• Complete inventory/cycle-counting activities
• Pull parts for service techs as needed
• Receive supply shipments from vendors
• Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects
• Landscaping as needed
• Act as a Field Service Associate when Service department is shorthanded or as business needs permit
• Deliver small parts to dealers and job sites when needed

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):

• Ability to work with computers, create reports in excel, Microsoft and Outlook
• Forklift driver is a plus
• Ability to perform a variety of physical activities (e.g., pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, grabbing, carrying, walking, standing) to receive, store, and ship materials, and/or supplies; Must be able to lift 50 pounds without help and 75+ with assistance.
• Ability to practice personal safety and vigilance in the identification of safety or security hazards to actively support a safe and hazard free working environment
• Ability to be objective and flexible in adapting to changes in priorities, work assignments, and other interactions
• High level of professionalism and dependability, with emphasis on quality of work
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive team spirit
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Also want to make sure you have:

• 1-2 Years of warehouse experience
• High School or GED
