Shipping Receiving Clerk - PGS Worldwide

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Shipping Receiving Clerk to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Fort Worth, TX. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties: may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un) packs or (un) wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials to stated identifications: logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents: report material shipped and bill of lading: posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

Requirements:

• Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Two (2) years experience packaging in a defense environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a high stress environment.
• US Citizenship
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Excel and Microsoft Office experience needed.
