Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Manpower

Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the shipping and receiving team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Fullerton, CA

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

• Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment, including packing & labeling
• Record shipment data, including weight, dimensions, and serial numbers, as well as additional data required for shipments
• Operate a sit down forklift in accordance with safety and operational compliance
• Check in and distribute non-inventory items to appropriate personnel or department in a timely manner

What's Needed?

• Experience: 2 years or more of Shipping and Receiving experience
• Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge: Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes; Knowledge of 5S principles including the ability to apply them to the work environment; Knowledge of procedures for safely lifting and/or moving packages up to 40 pounds in weight
• Detail and data orientation
• Effective process evaluation and problem-solving skills
